Groups and Events
We have plenty of things for children to do outside of weekend worship. There are several groups children can join that provide opportunites for making friends, having fun, and growing closer to God.
Our kids events encourage children to get excited about their faith and share it with their friends. We schedule kids events at various times throughout the year and design them so you and your children can invite friends and family members to participate in a fun, kid-friendly, family-affirming happening!
Groups
AWANA
AWANA is a weekly Christ-centered club for ages 3 years through 6th grade that helps children to know and apply God’s Word. The leaders of AWANA are committed to evangelizing, challenging and training your children through Bible-teaching, Bible memorization and fun group games. HizKidz Praise!
As children grow in their relationship with Christ, their desire to serve Him also grows. HizKidz Praise offers a wonderful way for children to serve God using their musical and dramatic gifts. This ministry, for children grades 3 through 8, meets weekly and presents evangelistic musicals in addition to other outreach presentations. Events
HizKidz Summer Camp
Join us July 21–25 for HizKidz Camp, a week-long music camp that focuses on our walk with Christ as we work toward the production of "AmeriKids," an entertaining, patriotic musical by Kathie Hill.
Camp activities will include morning assembly, skits, Bible lessons, concept-study breakout sessions, games, craft and/or story time for the younger children, recreation, choreography, and, of course, rehearsal. Students will need to bring their own lunch, snack, and water bottle. The cost for camp is $35 per child, $30 for each additional sibling, and a parent/guardian commitment to volunteer in some way (there are many opportunities to choose from.)
Camp will be held at Grace Fellowship from July 21–25, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., with a 3:00 p.m. dismissal on Thursday, July 24th. The performance will be Friday evening, July 25th at 7:00 p.m. in the Grace Fellowship sanctuary. All children entering 1st–9th grade in the Fall are eligible to participate.

Are you interested in auditioning for a part in the play?
For those children who are interested in auditioning for a part in the play, camp registrations must be submitted by June 12th. Auditions will be held June 14th. Children who have a part in the play will be expected to attend daily rehearsals the week of July 14–18.
